NEON: Plot Establishment
The National Ecological Observatory Network (NEON) is a way cool organization based in Boulder, Colorado, that’s working to understand and forecast the impacts of climate change, land use, and invasive species on continental-scale ecology. But before researchers can collect any data, they first need to establish plots throughout the United States, including Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico in twenty distinct eco-climatic domains.
