NEON: Of Mice and Mammal Trapping

The National Ecological Observation Network (NEON) in Boulder, CO gathers and synthesizes data on the impacts of climate change, land use change and invasive species on natural resources and biodiversity. This training video teaches NEON Field Techs involved in studying small mammals what they need to know to collect the data: what gear to bring, how to set and check the traps, and once they’ve caught the little guys, how to process them and then return them back to the wild.
