Secrets of Lost Empires II: Roman Bath

In this hour-long documentary, NOVA travels to Turkey to learn the ancient secrets of the bath. Relying on the techniques, tools and technology that would have been available in antiquity, an international crew of archaeologists, engineers and historians designs, builds and tests a functioning Roman bath in the Turkish countryside. The time lapse footage of the construction of the bath was captured by a digital video camera enclosed in a birdhouse mounted on a platform in the middle of an olive grove.  The camera was powered 24/7 for seven weeks by a solar panel, a car battery, and a converter.
